The 30th European Young Engineers conference!

Innovation is the DNA of an engineer's skill set and is key to their personal development and career. Innovation enables us to find effective solutions for the challenges that the world is facing.

The IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) is delighted to host the 30th EYE conference at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow on the theme of “Innovation to meet our global challenges” to inspire young engineers to be more creative and to empower them with the right tools and techniques to bring more life to their ideas!

Glasgow is Scotland's biggest city. It is today a unique cultural, educational and business hub that features prominently on the international map.

The IET aims to organise the most innovative EYE conference to date in the lively city of Glasgow. The conference will appeal to young professional engineers, university students and young entrepreneurs. It will promote the importance of being innovative, inspiring current and future innovators and will connect young engineers with those who can help with their ideas and plans.

The conference will feature technical visits, highly interactive workshops, keynote speeches from leading industry innovators. Our programme will also include fun and practical activities, designed specially to bring out the creativity in each and everyone of us!
